As we face the uncertainty of the evolving Coronavirus outbreak, the safety and well-being of our team, partners, homebuyers and the communities in which we live, and work is our top priority. We want to update you on how we at Windsong Properties are responding to the concerns of Covid-19.
Today, we are taking necessary measures to ensure our model homes, showcase homes, and offices are safe through additional weekly cleaning and sanitizing high-touch point locations. We are holding virtual meetings, postponing events, working remotely and practicing social distancing wherever possible to minimize potential exposure. We are following the recommendations published by the CDC to minimize employee -to-employee interaction and have required our team to not come to work if they are sick or believe they have been exposed to anyone infected by the virus. We will continue to monitor the situation daily and are prepared to make further adjustments if it becomes necessary.
Another area of concern is for our homebuyers. We understand this is a difficult situation for those in the market for a new home. The concern over the Coronavirus is challenging their move forward and understandably so. However, we know that our economy is strong, the homebuilding industry is confident in its ability to maneuver through these challenges, and now is still the right time to buy thanks to interest rates that are historically low.
We want to assure our homebuyers that Windsong is still open to provide operational continuity while remaining adaptable to the rapidly evolving situation. We are available to help and can conduct business virtually with your safety in mind. Please contact our on-site sales team for those wishing to continue their home search. We can offer the majority of the homebuying process, including going under contract, virtually. Our teams are ready to help homebuyers navigate that process and answer any questions they have. For our homebuyers who are currently in the researching phase, we offer photo galleries, virtual tours, downloadable floorplans, and a Pinterest site, all viewable on our website.
For those homebuyers that want to visit our model homes and communities, please call prior to visiting to schedule an appointment with our sales team as we are now open By Appointment Only until further notice. This will assure that our customers are notified immediately with any model closings. We will also post closings or changes on our website and social media, if needed. Your appointment time is individual to you and no other customers will be present during your meeting. Please limit the number of people with you to help us safeguard everyone.
