Windsong Properties is excited to announce its recent new hire, Davar Ashtin. As the CAD (computer aided design) operator, Davar brings a vast array of experience to the team. First receiving a master of science in architecture from IA University in Tehran, the capital of Iran, Davar then studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology. There, he earned a master of science in building construction and facility management in the winter of 2012. In addition to a fantastic education, Davar has held multiple positions in the field. He has served as an architect/designer and project manager at Capital Design and Construction, Inc. in Atlanta and was also a part-time project assistant at Excel Capital Construction, Inc. in Atlanta. Davar also has certifications for international residential code and erosion and sediment control, level II. He belongs to the International Construction Engineers Organization, International Architects Society, Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the International Code Council. “Davar’s experience definitely set him above the other candidates," stated Carrie Roeger, operations manager for Windsong Properties. “Already, he acclimated himself with our processes and is a great asset to the team." At Windsong Properties, Davar is responsible for using his extensive knowledge to use computer software to create innovative designs for the builder’s communities, such as Bel-Aire in Powder Springs and Windsong at Seven Hills and Windsong Manor in Dallas.
