As Chief Operations Systems Officer, Jeff Shaw is responsible for Windsong’s operations strategic planning and enhancing support systems. This includes streamlining communications to eliminate duplication or obstacles to productivity. His passion for improving operating systems, identifying efficiencies and his commitment to customer experience drive his every business decision.
Throughout his three decades of homebuilding experience, Jeff has cultivated long-lasting relationships with key trade partners. Those relationships are vital to Windsong’s mission to improve people’s lives by offering exceptional value in homes that are luxurious and designed for active adults.
As a leader, he advocates for listening to each customer and trade partner to best understand their future needs. He takes time to coach and train his team, empowering them to anticipate needs and to not only make decisions, but to feel confident in them.
Jeff believes that Windsong does far more than build homes for active adults but helps create a strong community that will rally and support each other. He considers operations as the offensive line for Windsong Properties, while they may not carry the ball or score the points, they are crucial to the success of the team.
Jeff earned a bachelor's degree in Building Construction from Southern Polytechnic State University and has worked in industry roles including contractor, estimator, purchasing manager, builder, area manager, production manager and more. Jeff is a father to two and enjoys camping, hunting and fishing.
