Our Team

J. Scott Leonard is Windsong’ Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 30 years of experience in residential construction, land development, and operations to his role. Before joining the Windsong team, Scott served as Corporate Vice President of Field Operations and Land Development at Beazer Homes, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, supporting 16 divisions across the United States through onsite leadership and strategic guidance on land development, quality and customer experience.

Scott’s previous experience also includes work with Minerva USA including such notable projects at the Chattahoochee Hills Charter School and the Serenbe Farmettes as well as work with Atlanta-based Bullock Mannelly Partners.

Scott holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California as well as a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia where he also serves as a charter member of the Real Estate Development Advisory Council and an A-School Alumni Mentor.
