Our Team

Lauren Merritt is Windsong’s Product Development Manager. She is the third generation of homebuilders in her family, having grown up watching the work of her father, Windsong co-founder and CEO Mark Carruth, including the founding of his first homebuilding company Loren Construction in 1984. In 2018 with more than ten years of experience in the business under her belt, Lauren took the helm at Loren alongside her brother Andrew, working closely with clients to craft award-winning new custom homes and earning multiple recognitions for excellence in design, planning, and customer satisfaction along the way.

When the Windsong and Loren teams joined together in 2025, Lauren assumed her current role of Product Development Manager where she brings her wealth of experience working directly with new home buyers to drive the design and development of the company’s new Signature series homes for multi-generational living as well as the continued refinement of its time-proven designs for Active Adults. 

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Leadership from Huntingdon College. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, Conor, and their two daughters.
