2010 Community of the Year!
Windsong Properties Celebrates 7 Years of Success
Windsong Properties celebrated seven outstanding years in business earlier this month with an anniversary luncheon at its award winning Somerset community in Woodstock. Attendees were asked to bring canned goods to benefit MUST Ministries’ holiday food drive.
Despite a down market, Windsong Properties, Atlanta premier courtyard active adult builder ended up with an almost 500 percent increase in closings in the first half of 2010 compared to last year. The builder’s ability to increase its effectiveness was a direct result of controlling costs (both overhead and construction) and the ability to re-position its product.
“Our longevity is due to our ability to focus on our homebuyer’s needs,” said Steve Romeyn, managing partner at Windsong Properties. “Our goal at Windsong is and always has been to provide the 50-plus buyer with the best customer service available in the marketplace. We cater our maintenance-free ranch homes to meet the exact needs of each and every homebuyer and our strong sales numbers show that our hard work and dedication is paying off.”
Earlier this month, Windsong was recognized for the best 50+ Community of the Year for its Somerset community during the 30th Annual OBIE Awards Ceremony held Nov. 13 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. Windsong was also honored with four OBIES for their achievement in building. For 2010, Windsong is projecting 36 closings, a level it has not reached since 2007.
