With almost nine years under her belt as a Windsong Properties employee, Carrie Roeger has done everything from purchasing to marketing. Over time, she has developed a deep understanding of the company and its market niche, active adult home buyers. This experience has resulted in her promotion from marketing manager to operations manager. “Carrie has been an integral part of the team for many years and will be great as our new operations manager," stated Steve Romeyn, co-founder of Windsong Properties. “She has a passion for providing quality housing to active adult buyers. Carrie will apply her talents to Windsong by addressing the changes and challenges of a growing company, insuring that our efficiency and quality are preserved as we double our volume." As operations manager, Roeger will manage and coordinate work flow from sales through construction to warranty. “I hope to help improve the processes and systems that make the entire Windsong experience better for all–buyer, homeowner and the Windsong team," stated Roeger. Before working at Windsong Properties, Roeger spent five years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon completion of her service, she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She also served as a production assistant for a government contractor that built base housing and was a builder assistant for the interiors division of Choate Construction. Roeger started at Windsong Properties as a purchasing manager. She helped with purchasing, vendor relations, contracts, estimating, quality control, accounting and even marketing. After five years in this position, Roeger served as the company’s marketing manager.
